Adjustments/Changes

  • Infected players now keep their shirts/pants, but they turn a grisly color to reflect the zombification!
  • You can build on the Classic void again! HOWEVER, Shadow Clone ignores the void, so you can still use it to recover from underneath instead of hitting an invisible ceiling
  • Doomspires should no longer get caught on the lower part of Islands

  • Roundcat Rally Power-Ups
    • Roundcat Rally now has randomly spawning power-ups! Shoot them with your rocket launchers to collect them and give your team a boost!
    • Power-ups include:
      • Speed: Gives your team a speed & jump height bonus for 30 seconds.
      • Bricks Up: Refills your team’s bricks by 20.
      • Paw Shield: Creates a shield on your team’s side that blocks 4 rockets.
      • Mega Rocket: Spawns a massive cat rocket that flies towards the enemy team’s Roundcats. Be careful, it can be reflected just like any other rocket!
  • When playing in a VIP Server, you can now select which team to play on!y 28

    • Now drops 20 Bricks on KO instead of 2-5 (except in Infection, where it gives 5)
    • New special move: Brick Smash
      • Normally, is a pretty weak move, but…
      • When the Player has at least 50 Bricks, it becomes an explosive attack!
      • Activate it in midair to surprise foes beneath you!

8/7/2021 Adjustments/Changes
  • Dark Jungle is now less flat, to prevent trampoline camping, and only has one trampoline. Trampolines have also been nerfed to about 65% of their normal strength.
1/6/2021 Adjustments/Changes
  • The Winner's Platform now changes to the color of the team that won the previous round. This defaults to white in new servers.
31/5/2021 Adjustments/Changes
  • Capped damage at 50 for rockets created within 0.15 seconds.

Misc.

23/10/2020 Adjustments/Changes
  • Flipped the location of two of the outer ramps in Jungle, and made the destructible trees in the center more obvious/more balanced.
  • Infected players now have distorted sticker sound effects.
  • Fixed being unable to launch enemy bombs with explosions.
  • Fixed the Bombardier’s/Starblaster’s damage output (accidentally overnerfed it!)
  • When a vote for a gamemode or map ties, it will now pick a random one out of the winners instead of the first one listed.
  • Added some Brick Boxes to every Infection map.
  • Updated Storm Hill & Possum City to have more hiding spots and interactive areas.
  • Maps should load a little faster now.

21/10/2020 Gameplay
  • There is now anti-jump spam. After jumping repeatedly in a very short time, your jumps will begin to lose strength.
  • Some changes have been made to how victory is decided in Doomspire modes.
    • If the time runs out, the team(s) with the most spawns remaining will win.
  • Doomspire modes’ time limit has been decreased to 7 minutes (previously 10 minutes).
  • Bomb jumps now have trails to easier track where enemies are headed (except for Shadow Bomb).
  • Increased the amount of time before auto-heal kicks in by about 3 seconds.
  • Added new tower generation layouts.
  • The markers that show where remaining enemies are now get clamped to the sides of the screen.

Misc.

  • New Jungle soundtrack by ZamComp!
  • 38 new Stickers!
  • Increased the range of Sticker sounds by about 30 studs.
  • The lobby now changes colors depending on the current real-life season.
  • Damage dealt by you will always show an indicator now, no matter how far away you are from the target.
  • Added a number to the HP bar that represents your current health.
  • Certain items are now seasonal, which means they can only be bought during certain times of the year. For example, items marked in the Shop/Logbook with an orange leaf are only available during September, October, & November.
  • Lots of small fixes/changes/optimizations were made.

Infection

  • NEW MAP: Crimson Courtyard
  • Infected now gain permanent +5 max HP per infection.
  • Survivors properly start with 25 bricks again.
  • KOing Infected gives more bricks on average.
  • Brick Boxes have been added to the roofs & bases of Survivor towers. These can be opened with melee attacks or explosions, and give 10 bricks each time.
  • Rafflesias added to each map to replace the old Green Team trampolines.
    • Rafflesias are giant infected flowers that the Infected team can use as trampolines. If a Survivor tries to use them, they’ll get bounced, but… well, you’ll have to find out for yourself.
  • Dark Jungle
    • Removed some of the higher leaf platforms to prevent circle camping
    • Added an area underneath the Survivor’s tower
    • Removed the ability to build underneath the overhangs

Adjustments/Changes

  • Updated the gravity effect on certain projectile Tools (Bombardier, Slingshot, etc) to be less buggy and more consistent.
  • The Chilled status effect now also negatively affects explosion jumps.
  • Shadow Clone now needs 0.4s of warmup before using (after equipping).
  • Shadow Clone’s brick cost lowered from 15 -> 5
  • Shadow Clone now explodes when attacked by melee/explosions, dealing 100% of the damage it was hit with
  • Shadow Clone’s reload speed buffed 8s -> 5s
  • Shadow Clone’s range slightly nerfed
  • Decreased the knockback on Rock Star’s special attack.
  • Voxcalibur’s lunge damage nerf has been changed to a lunge distance nerf
  • Increased Bloomerang’s reload time

Adjustments/Changes

  • Lava now sends you flying upwards with a burn instead of destroying character parts

  • Fixed a bug where players could build infinitely in the lobby, causing lag
  • Fixed a bug where lava wouldn’t award KOs properly
  • Fixed a bug where players who crossed into the enemy’s side in Roundcat Rally stayed alive.
  • When moving the thumbstick on mobile, the sidebar now disappears
  • If you tie with someone for an MVP slot, but your team won & theirs lost, you will overwrite them in the slot
  • Added more bridges to the Jungle map & increased the size of tree ridges
  • Widened the light bridges in the Ruins map
  • Explosive Tools now have a minimum damage cap, which should make them more consistent damage-wise
  • Tweaked a lot of Tool rarities to favor Legendary less
  • Shadow Bomb’s bomb jump nerf decreased to -10% (from -33%), but also can’t be planted now
  • Laser Cannon’s shots are now actually consistent
  • If you hit someone with the Homerunner’s special move, you’ll now get the new Batter Up buff, which gives 10 seconds of 150% walkspeed.
  • When placing constructions over their build limit (such as Ball Turrets & Trampolines), the first one you placed will get destroyed instead of getting a message & being unable to place a new one.
  • Lunge damage decreased to 35
  • Strike damage decreased to 45
  • Increased base Lunge cooldown
  • Increased Power Chord’s range & damage
  • Fixed Brickbreaker not giving credit for fallout KOs

  • Changed the base Sword’s recharge time back to 2 seconds
  • Made Lunge’s base damage 35
  • Shadow Blade’s Lunge now does 50 damage
  • Increased Greatsword’s swing time (midair is unaffected)
  • Smoke from bomb jumping works differently. Instead of multiplying your bomb jump by 0.33x, it now has a set maximum bomb jump length. This should help make things a bit more consistent and fair.

  • Added a smoky effect for 12 seconds after you bomb jump
    • While smoking, your bomb jumps will be weaker. This is to help reduce air stalling.
  • Fixed some oddities with Trowel constructions that caused them to weld to invisible anchored parts or players
  • Fixed an issue where you could home-run entire Doomspires. I’m sorry, this one had to go.
  • When a Survivor dies in Infection, their buildings will now be destroyed.
  • Attempted a change that may help lower physics lag when Doomspires first start falling.
  • Damage numbers now show the actual damage being dealt instead of the remaining health of the victim
  • Made navigating your Items less terrible on gamepad/Xbox
  • Fixed some other bugs, I think! I don’t remember right now! It’s been a weird month.

  • Added little swirly things to brick pickups to make them more obvious, and doubled how long they stay before disappearing.
  • Reduced the default Bomb’s detonation time.
  • Fixed an issue where some bombs couldn’t be launched by other explosions.

Adjustments/Changes

  • Voxcalibur’s midair attack damage 35 -> 30
  • Voxcalibur’s jump height boost +40% -> +30%
  • Hitting players with a melee weapon cause 0.1 seconds where they can’t damage you. This should make sword-fighting feel less like you’re both damaging each other at the same time over and over.
  • Ragdolled players can no longer deal melee damage
  • Removed burn from Hoss Hog
  • Lowered Frying Pan’s ragdoll power
  • Scope Shot reload time debuff 15% -> 10%
  • Classic Bomb’s explosion sound changed
  • Moved the Infected towers closer to the Survivor tower in Possum City
  • In Infection, assist KOs as an Infected now count towards the Making Fiends task

  • Bloomerang’s flight time increased by half a second.
  • Tennis Racket’s reflect power increased to +150% (from +100%).
  • Blow Stuff Up and Spawn Capture are now only available in VIP servers for the time being.
  • Added some more Green-only trampolines to all Infection maps.
  • The Infection gamemode timer has been decreased to 4:00 (from 5:00). This should hopefully make Survivor wins a bit more common - one of the hardest parts was simply surviving for such a long time.

  • Added glowing anchors to the end of each Doomspire’s bridge. As long as they’re connected, they’ll keep the Doomspire from falling, which means the bottom of the tower is no longer its only weak spot.

Adjustments/Changes

Adjustments/Changes

  • Trowel-made constructions now have health. Certain ones are no longer destroyed in one hit.
  • Forcefields & player constructions can take damage from sword & ball Tools.
  • You can now equip Tools without having to respawn if the round started less than 15 seconds ago, or if you respawned less than 5 seconds ago.
  • You will now earn Crowns for every 10 Bricks you collect by destroying things.
  • Bricks now have a collecting animation & sound.
  • Added a lobby timer to the heads-up display.
  • Blow Stuff Up now shows your team’s brick total instead of spawns.
  • Gamemodes with only 2 teams now pick two random teams.
  • Added new tips for certain actions. Tips will stop appearing after you’ve seen them 3 times.
  • You can now press the special attack key with most Bombs to use the Plant move. This drops the bomb directly below you.
    • When planted, it will stick to the surface you’re on & explode faster.
    • Planted Bombs give a 20% boost to bomb jumping, but have a reduced blast radius.
  • Sticky Bombs now throw further when fully charged.
  • Colossal Blade has new hit sounds.
  • Ball Turret build limit reduced to 2 (from 3).

Other

  • The winning team’s flags are now displayed in the lobby after a match.

  • Reduced arm cannon's reload time very slightly & increased the speed of its uncharged projectile

Changes:

  • You can no longer reflect rockets from behind. Instead of being based on clicking, rockets are reflected based on sword attack hitboxes now.
  • Hoss Hog got 5% more rocket speed and 25% more damage
  • Tennis Racket got 10% faster swing speed
  • Scope Shot has 15% slower reload speed now
