Rocket Jumping is an advanced jump method that launches you in the air. You can use Rocket jumping to your advantage by jumping over your enemies.

Good Launchers for Rocket Jumping[]

Good Launchers for Rocket Jumping include:

Hoss Hog (and it’s Skin) The Hoss Hog is meant for rocket jumping. While it can do combat fairly well with it's faster rocket speed, it is meant to be quick and rocket jump. It gives you further distance with your rocket jumps, and you can do them more often. Though the Hoss Hog has the drawback of doing 15 damage to the user when Rocket jumping with it. Many players compare this with the Arm Cannon. Although once you know how to pick your moves particularly, this can be a good rocket to choose. If you want to play with a high jump but with a risk, choose Hoss Hog.

The Arm Cannon is a unique as it has the ability to fire three different levels of rocket, with each varying with speed and damage. But the drawbacks to it is that you can only rocket jump with the fully charged explosion. Many players compare to the Hoss Hog. Some people think that it's more important to be a safer player than a risky player. So that way you can focus on the game in a more loose mannor and you don't have to pick your moves particularly. If you want to play a safe move set, this could be a good rocket to consider.

Rock Star is great for rocket jumping. Even though it does not have direct rocket jump boost, the -10% reload time is useful for consecutive jumps. Although this is not as good as the Hoss Hog, the Rock Star's lessened reload can play a big part in comebacks. Rock Star's lower rocket speed also allows for more forward movement when rocket jumping.

Crystal Blaster is also good for rocket jumping. Since the projectile explodes 0.75 seconds after it's launch, it is the only rocket that can mid-air jump. This tactic can be great for stalling or floating to avoid Sudden Death.
